The Dental Veneer Difference

Cosmetic dentistry doesn’t have to be outrageously complicated, like you might think. You can correct pretty serious cosmetic issues with the simplicity of dental veneers. At Marineland Dental, we actually offer two types of veneers: composite and porcelain. Both sets of veneers will enable us to give you a fantastic cover for the issues going on in your mouth, and you will feel completely confident to go out into the world and show off your smile!

Veneers can correct many different cosmetic problems. Teeth that are chipped, broken, cracked, discolored, or oddly shaped can be corrected with a dental veneer! Depending on what you want from your veneer, you could choose between our two types. Porcelain are more expensive and higher quality because they show much more like a natural tooth. Composite veneers, on the other hand, are thinner, which means we don’t have to remove as much healthy tooth enamel before placing them.

Placing Dental Veneers

The process for placement is rather straightforward. Through a series of two appointments, we will remove the outer layer of tooth enamel and take impressions. We will then place the custom-made veneers on your teeth and trim them to create the perfect look. Once they fit well, we will bond them directly to your teeth and do one last check to make sure they are fitting perfectly. You will love the way veneers make you feel when you smile for the first time!

Dental veneers are a great middle ground for cosmetic dentistry; they aren’t expensive or complicated to place, but they do more for your smile than something like dental bonding.
