That doesn’t mean you have to forget about dental implants, though. Mini dental implants may work for you! They are especially useful for securing lower dentures.

Get Big Benefits with Mini Dental Implants
Mini implants offer most of the same benefits as full-size implants, such as ease of care, durability, and preservation of bone structure. In addition, they:
- Won’t require a bone graft or other surgery. If bone density is lacking, dentists sometimes recommend a bone graft or other procedure to prepare your jaw for a dental implant. But mini dental implants can be placed without added surgery.
- Heal more quickly than full-sized implants. The placement site for full-sized implants typically takes a few months to heal enough to support replacement teeth. With mini dental implants, you can usually get replacement teeth right away. The area heals within days.
- Are easier to place than full-sized implants. Because placement is easier, the procedure is quicker. You’ll typically only require local anesthesia, though we can provide dental sedation if you want it.
- Can support replacement teeth right away. In most cases, Dr. Hadley will be able to place your replacement teeth on the same day you get your mini dental implants.
